The Company
YO! Sushi made a big impression on the restaurant scene when they first opened in London’s Soho in 1997. They brought fresh Japanese cuisine to a hungry UK audience that delighted in picking up the colour-coded dishes of delicious food from the ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt that ran throughout the venue.
Fast forward to today, and YO! has nearly 100 restaurants worldwide, proving that the public love novelty, but appreciate fresh, authentic flavours even more. According to their website: Sushi is what they're known for. But they also have a mouth-watering range of hot street food available - from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes. All packed with rich, aromatic flavours and all-natural ingredients.

The Project
YO! Sushi in the Trafford Centre, Manchester, is based within Selfridges, and was redesigned and relaunched earlier this year. The cool, contemporary look demanded commercial furniture to match, so the company approached Eclipse Furniture to provide stylish yet ergonomic dining chairs.
Within a short turnaround time, our Innovation Team suggested and supplied the perfect design-led seating, delivering it all before the restaurant reopening on 1st July.

The Result
The newly relaunched restaurant looks as vibrant and fun as the food it serves. According to Manchester Pulse, the bold new design brings the buzz of Tokyo nightlife to one of the UK’s most iconic shopping centres.
The revamped space features an eye-catching industrial design with bright colours, neon signs and urban inspiration. There’s a buzz that draws customers in, and the stylish, yet comfortable chairs keep them seated and enjoying what YO! Sushi has to offer.
